These Terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("StashMode", "we", "us") for the StashMode mobile app and stashmode.app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use StashMode. By using it you confirm that you are. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google or an email link. Keep access to your sign-in method secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.
3. What StashMode is (and isn't)
StashMode is a motivation game that helps you make progress on side projects. Playbooks, tasks, mascot lines and any AI-drafted plans are general encouragement and suggestions only. They are not financial, legal, tax, investment or business advice, and we don't guarantee that any hustle will make money. You are responsible for your own business decisions and for complying with laws (including tax and licensing) that apply to your side hustles.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans. StashMode is free with 1 active hustle. Paid plans (Plus, Pro and Ultra) raise the number of active hustles to 3, 7 and 10. Every other feature is the same on every plan.
- Price and period. Plans are sold monthly or yearly at the price shown in the app before you buy, which may vary by country and include applicable taxes.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trials and promotions. If a free trial or promotional period is offered, the terms are shown before you start. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your device's subscription settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We can't issue refunds for store purchases directly.
- Downgrades. If you move to a plan with fewer active slots, you keep all your hustles and choose which stay active; the rest are parked, never deleted.
- Price changes are communicated in advance as required by Apple, Google and applicable law.
5. Coins and virtual items
Coins, streak freezes and shop items are earned in the game and have no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are a limited licence to use within StashMode. We may rebalance the game economy. Coins and items are lost if your account is deleted.
6. Referral program
- Share your referral code or link. A new user who signs up with it gets 1 month of Plus.
- You get 1 month of Plus (or 1 month of your current paid plan, if you already pay) after they finish onboarding and complete their first task.
- Rewards are promotional access, not cash, and can't be exchanged or transferred. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, repeat sign-ups on the same device, or spam are not allowed and may cancel rewards.
- One reward per new account and device, and up to 12 free months per year per referrer. We may change or end the program with notice. Rewards already earned are honoured.
7. Beta program
Beta versions are pre-release and may have bugs or lose data. During the beta, testers receive Ultra access at no charge and a "Founding Hustler" badge that stays on the account. Beta access ends when the beta ends. Feedback you send may be used to improve StashMode without any obligation to you.
8. Your content
You own what you write in StashMode (hustle names, notes, lessons and feedback). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it to run the Service for you, and to send the short "Other" hustle text to our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't put anything in StashMode you don't have the right to use, or sensitive information you'd rather not store.
9. AI-generated content
Some task plans and mascot lines are drafted with AI and reviewed by automated quality checks. They can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. Use your judgement before acting on them.
10. Acceptable use
Don't: use StashMode for anything illegal or to plan illegal activity; harass anyone; try to break, reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service; bypass plan limits or game the referral program; or use automated means to create accounts. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
11. Our intellectual property
StashMode, the mascot, artwork, playbooks, sounds and software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use. Share cards you generate may be shared on social media.
12. Apple and Google
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we (not they) are responsible for the app and its content. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and it may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to US government embargo and are not on any US government restricted-party list. Your use must also follow the App Store or Google Play terms that apply.
13. Ending your account
You can stop using StashMode and delete your account at any time from the app (how). We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we stop offering the Service, giving notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 8, 11, 14 and 15) survive termination.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including in the UK, EU and Australia.
15. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. If you live in the UK, EU or Australia, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and keep the protection of your local mandatory laws.
16. Changes and contact
